If you're only potty training during the day, what does DC wear at night?

We recently started PTing DS2, who is about to turn 3. DS1 was ready to be night trained very shortly after being day trained. DS2 doesn't seem ready for night training and I'm not pushing it. I've been putting him in pull ups for naps and at night. He is usually dry during naps, but wakes up soaked at night. I do not want him back in diapers at all.

What does DC wear at night if they're not night trained? Do the nighttime pull ups work well? If so, which brand works best?

I really don't believe you can train at night. It takes a long time for some kids to wake up dry. One of my sons is totally fine at night, sleeps in underwear. His twin will sleep through completely soaked. We used Huggies overnight pull-ups. We have him pee right before bed and as soon as he wakes up. Never had an issue with them leaking.

I have same thing... Except younger child is overnight dry (forever) & older one pees despite all measures.

I still use overnight diapers. My dd is soaked still and would def go through pull ups. Accidents get her very upset so i dont mind avoiding it.
As soon as she wakes she asks to put her panties on and i do so immediately. We havent had any issues

My DS just started going on the potty 2 days ago and hasn't had 1 accident during the day. I had 2 regular pull ups left so I put that on him and he stayed dry last night so I am going to try just underwear to bed. If he has accidents I am going to get night time pull ups just for the night.

At first we used overnight pullups (huggies) and now we use "goodnites" bedtime disposable underwear (which really aren't all that different from pullups except IMO they hold more pee - and at almost 4 she pees a ton).

We did it all at once. Going back and forth between pull ups/diapers and underwear was causing too much confusion so we just went right to underwear at night and I figured I would deal with accidents.

We are still using diapers at night time. Its hit or miss if she wakes up dry or soaked. She turns 3 in September, so I haven't pushed the issue / wont push the issue for a while.

We went right to regular underwear. It was a few months after my son's first bday. He got used to it asap.

We use Night Time Pull Ups. He wakes up wet 5 out of 7 days usually, so I would be doing laundry constantly. No Thanks.

He knows he needs to wake up dry in order to wear undies to bed - and he wants to wear undies to bed bc they are much more comfortable. But he understands that he sleeps through the peeing at night, so he has to wear the Pull Ups. I'll bring it up at his next well visit, but I know it's not something you can really train for.

I use Goodnites as well-- no leaking with those whatsoever with my 3.5 - the night time pull ups were constantly leaking, I guess they don't hold as much or as well and DD pees a lot at night !lol
