Does anyone have a really good seamstress in Nassau ( south shore preferably) I am in a wedding and we got the dresses from a place that don't do alterations. I have lost about 30 lbs since I ordered it so I know this dress is going to need some serious work. I have no idea who to bring it to , I need someone really good, my measurements are all over the place. and its a really fitted dress.

Re: seamestress
I don't know in Nassau, but I can recommend Rose's Alterations in Lindenhurst (right off Sunrise Highway).
My SIL uses her all the time, and she did a very complicated alteration for me on a dress (removing the train and taking it in) and her prices were very reasonable.

Lol, RG maybe you're talking about my mother. Marina? She's in Oceanside!
Please fm me for her info. She can make miracles happen. For my sisters wedding, I was pg with twins when we got measured for her wedding. Needless to say, they made me order a (bridal) size 22 I went down to a 16 by then. She took it apart, put it back together, and it looked perfect!

Know of one in Westbury. She did alterations for my Daughters wedding dress. Beautiful job and quick.
