Re: Best place to get hero's made?
I usually get party hero's at BJ's. They are cheap and they are good... the only thing is that you have to cut them yourself.

Best place to get hero's made?
I was normally a Boar's Head only person but BJ's cold cuts are pretty good and like half the price. I would definitely look into them.

Best place to get hero's made?
We always use BJs for heroes and did so again two weeks ago for a party. We got so many compliments and actually always do, even from those that are usually the pickiest, like my mother and father in law.lol

Best place to get hero's made?
If there's a handy pantry out there, them! We got heroes for DD's first birthday and they were not only one of the cheaper places but they were so good! And they use boars head.
ETA: There's one in Mastic and one in Mastic Beach. $12.99/foot and each foot comes with a pound of side salad.

Mastic Sports Deli on Montauk Hwy, corner of Titmus. Hands down best in the area.

Best place to get hero's made?
I recently ate a BJs hero at a birthday party and I was surprised at how good it was! I'm picky about cold cuts too!

BJ's has really good heroes and they're pretty cheap! If you ask them to cut the hero they will.

I would use TJ's..it's literally like 1-2 bucks more a foot and you can;t beat theres.
Just used them again for the #5 shaped hero 5ft with 5 lbs of salads and it was 88.00

TJ's is good and so is the Moriches Meat Market. I think it is called M&M. It's right by the Moriches Bay Diner. We usually use them and they are great.

Re: Best place to get hero's made?
BJs. The bread is very soft, which is important to me. Very often it's very tough to get through the bread, that's why I like it. The only downside is they only have American and Italian, none of the specialty ones.

Re: Best place to get hero's made?
If you have a King Kullen they make great heros and the prices are reasonable.
