Bachelor’ Chris Soules, fiancée Whitney Bischoff split two months after Season 19 finale
I don't watch the show. But I have to say...I'm shocked!
 
The rose has wilted.
"Bachelor" couple Chris Soules and fiancée Whitney Bischoff have called it quits just two months after he proposed on the Season 19 finale.
"Sad news to report: @souleschris and @whitbisch are no longer engaged," the show's creator, Mike Fleiss, tweeted Thursday.
"Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement," their rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. "They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey."
Their journey comes to an abrupt end after they both boasted about the undying love they had for one another.
"Whitney is my soulmate," the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant said in March. "It just felt right."
Soules added, "She was the person I could see myself with."
Shortly after the season ended on March 9, Bischoff said, "I'm looking forward to the life that we're going to start. I think a lot of great things are going to happen."
After Soules' "DWTS" stint ended, she headed to his family's Arlington, Iowa farm with him in order to begin their life together.
"We want to take that step and then we'll make (wedding) plans," Soules previously told Us.
Sadly, before they could really get into the planning phase their romance came to an end and Bischoff has reportedly returned to her native Chicago.
Another contestant that was vying for Soules' love, Kaitlyn Bristowe, has continued her search for Mr. Right as the Season 11 "Bachelorette."
A rep for Soules has yet to respond to the Daily News' request for comment.

I don't watch this show either, but just wondering, why is it that celebrities and pseudo-celebrities always "part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends" and people in real life seem to almost always battle it out when they split?

You mean to tell me that she didn't want to live in bum-freak nowhere in a town with nothing on a ranch with no friends or family??? What???!!!! I'm shocked!!!!!!!

What a surprise.
What is surprising is that this show still exists. No one ever gets married, aside from Trista and Ryan.

What is surprising is that this show still exists. No one ever gets married, aside from Trista and Ryan.

The only thing any of these bachelors or bachelorettes are looking for is to be discovered. They certainly aren't looking for a spouse.
I can't stand this show.
Even more so after the stunt they pulled this season with the 2 bachelorettes.
