jewlery judge appraisal
anyone use them? Was wondering how much they charge for an appraisal. Just switched homeowner's insurance and need to get a new appraisal for my band and e-ring.

Somewhere in the range of $250 to $300 now I believe.
I used Polara Jewelers in Bellmore at the recommendation of another LIF member, they only charged me $75. Their appraiser didn't spend as much time with me as they would at Jewelry Judge (hence the cheaper price), however they give you all the information you need which includes the appraisal paperwork for insurance. Money well spent.
I'd use them again, just call in advance.
