If you "wear" your baby in a carrier...

Which one do you use and how do you like it?

If you

I don't really wear too much but if by myself, I prefer the Infantino Mei Tai b/c it's easy to put on. When I'm with DH, I'll wear the Ergo b/c he can help me with the top clip.

If you

I have the ergo. I love it and use it all the time. I can honestly say I do not know what I would do without it. I do not have a problem fastening the top clip on my own- it can be loosened and then easily tightened with the baby in the carrier if necessary. My arms are long enough to clip it without having to loosen it.

I prefer the long wraps. (Moby wrap, woven wrap etc) I also have an infantino mei tai which I like, the ergo so far I do not like but DS is just a newborn still, I may like it better when he is a bit bigger.

I can only reach it if I loosen the side straps a lot first.

To the OP, I like the moby for the early weeks and then the ergo after that.

Love the Ergo. It did take me awhile until I figured out how to adjust it easily.

If you

I have 2 Ergos.. 1 all set up to throw DD on my back easily and 1 set up for front carries.. I LOVE it.. and I don't have an issue getting her in and buckling on my own..
I have the infant insert for the Ergo, but honestly didn't love it for when she was small. I preferred the Moby wrap.

I have the Ergo and use it all the time as a "backpack". I stick my 12 month old DS in it and make dinner with him every night.

I noticed when I have DD in our baby bjorn carrier (front carry) she seems like she is getting bounced a lot as I walk.

Could that be bad for her?

I love this one too. I got the Boba because I couldn't find the newborn insert for my Beco and I needed a carrier early on with DS2. Both carriers were great and I used them for a long time.

might not be good for her hips since it's not a very ergonomic carrier.

Loved my ergo so much when the 360 came out, I got it on pre-order. DD is 20 months and I still put her on my front facing out. It's her favorite. Chat Icon

ETA: I just loosen the side straps and have no trouble clipping the back when the side straps are loose. The side straps are so easy to tighten too, so that's my method for getting DD on.

If you

I have a boba wrap and boba 4G carrier. I love them both! The wrap was a lifesaver when DS was first born but he's too big for it now. I use the 4G structured carrier (basically the same as an ergo) everyday. He naps in it sometimes and it's super helpful if he's being fussy and I need to get things done around the house. Thinking about getting an ergo 360 so that he can face forward.

I have a Beco, Ergo, Infantino Mei tai and Tula.

LOVE my Tula more than any of the other ones.
