Kathy Griffin Leaving E!'s Fashion Police After 7 Episodes
Ultimately, Kathy Griffin and Fashion Police were not the right fit.
The comedian is leaving the E! show after seven episodes as host, having replaced the late Joan Rivers in January.
"We can confirm that Kathy Griffin is leaving E!'s Fashion Police," the network said in a statement Thursday. "We wish her all the best and are grateful for her time on the show, as well as the many laughs that she gave us all. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Monday, March 30, at 9 p.m. with our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, and executive producer Melissa Rivers.
"No further information is available at this time."
Griffin also said today as part of a lengthy tweet: "After seven episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style doesn't fit with the creative direction of the show & now it's time to move on.
"I wish E! and the E! team only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in an observational way that is candid, honest and justified. Thank you to my fans for taking this ride with me."

There is no more Fashion Police. It stopped existing after Joan Rivers passed away. Whatever was on after was just a sad excuse for what it used to be... so whoever steps down, or steps up will not make any difference: they should just cancel it!

I really thought the show should have been cancelled when Joan died. I'm sure it was hard for people to let go because of how Joan passed away so unexpectedly. Especially for Melissa. But it just can't be the same. I happen to love Kathy Griffin as a stand up comedian. But I haven't watched a single Fashion Police episode since she took over because I can't imagine the show with anyone other than Joan. They really need to just throw in the towel and cancel it already.

If they're thinking of bringing in Khloe K and or Nene Leakes the show is beyond over. I just hear "Stop trying to make Fashion Police happen" in my head.
Also Kathy Griffin's reasoning for her exit seems a little hypocritical, isn't her comedy schtick picking a part people and being an asshole? Yes, yes it is.
I dunno, something stinks and I think E! asked her to leave but is giving her the courtesy of saying it was her idea.

They should have never brought the show back after Joan Rivers passed. I refused to watch it with Kathy Griffin.

I, personally, see RIGHT through this BS!
I think what happened was the ratings had plummeted since she began because she is NO Joan Rivers - not even in the same REALM - and it was so apparent. So, I think she realizes that she's going to get the boot OR people are going to talk about how bad the show is and she'll look like a fool. So, she used the whole dreadlockgate debacle as a way to get out now and make it look like it was a. her idea b. as a result of being such a humanitarian  and c. not as a result of the fact that she sucked a big diick as a host.

In my own personal opinion
I loved Kathy Griffin because she wasn't trying to be Joan at all, and she never was. I loved her, I thought she was funny and it could have worked.
I don't like the guy on the show and I didn't like how Kelly and Giuliana seemed to be their own clique in the corner.
I felt that the show could have worked as long as they all stuck together to make Joan proud. When Kelly left, I thought it could be over. Now, I know it's over
