Drugs found in second search - Bobbi Kristina
A second search of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Georgia home turned up illegal drugs that weren’t found during an initial sweep, loved ones of the stricken 21-year-old said.
The daughter of late pop diva Whitney Houston remained in a medically induced coma Tuesday after she was found unconscious in her bathtub in Roswell, Ga., on Saturday.
Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina arrive at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Awards party in Beverly Hills on Feb. 12, 2011.
When cops first searched Bobbi Kristina’s home, they looked for drugs in plain view and found nothing, TMZ reported on Tuesday.
But when investigators returned with a search warrant, a closer inspection turned up drugs, family sources told the celebrity gossip website.
Loved ones are keeping an around-the-clock vigil by Bobbi Kristina’s bedside, praying for her recovery.
“The swelling [in her brain] has gone down,” a family source told People. “The doctor says that by itself isn’t the smoking gun that she’s getting better, but it’s still a good sign. But she’s still not reacting.”
That same family source said Bobbi Kristina’s dad, Bobby Brown, has been at her side and is so overcome by grief, he can barely move.
“He’s so upset,” the source said. “He can hardly put one foot in front of the other.”
Bobbi Kristina’s mom, Houston, died on Feb. 11, 2012. The famed 48-year-old singer was found unconscious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where she was staying for the Grammys.
