A stoner’s dream come true! Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl empire will soon be capable of supplying customers with the chillest night ever. The Real Housewives of New York City star plans to launch her own line of “Skinnygirl marijuana" in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, where recreational cannabis is legal, sources reveal exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“It will be a specially engineered strain of pot designed to not give you the munchies,” an insider close to the Skinnygirl cocktails creator, 44, tells Us. “She read about how profitable the cannabis industry is and wants to get in on that.”
“OMG it's the craziest thing to see marijuana legal in Aspen. People walking into pot stores like it's the @Gap #prohibitiondone,” the former talk show host and entrepreneur tweeted on Dec. 20.
And, according to sources, Frankel is in need of a chill-out sesh when it comes to dealing with her divorce from estranged husband Jason Hoppy. “Jason turned down a $3 million settlement offer because he wanted more,” an insider tells Us. “Their divorce has gotten nasty.”

ITA. I think if it was well known that she was a pot smoker (I don't know if she is or isn't), then it would make more sense. But, she's just trying to jump on the band wagon, and I find it annoying.

I think this would be a HUGE moneymaker if it actually worked. From what I've read, there is no scientific evidence that there has been a strand created that stops "the munchies."
I think people that say it's a dumb idea are wayyyyyyy off the mark.
I smoke fairly frequently--but I am also very athletic, go to the gym everyday during the week, watch what I eat--I know I'm not the only one. There is definitely a market for this.

Right... I'm agreeing with you that there is no scientific evidence backing this up right now (as far as I know), but if "they" DID finally get it figured out, it would be a huge success, imo. Not speaking specifically of Bethenny or anyone for that matter...just simply that the idea is a great one!
