Another potty training question
If your kids were very resistent to potty training, did you wait till they let you know they were ready? Or did your force it along? My DD is sooo stubborn with potty training. She had 2 accidents while washing her hands in the bathroom while she could have sat on the toilet but she chose not to. She just doesn't want to go on the potty. She cries and fights it. So I feel like I have to wait till she tells me she is ready. I don't think it should be this much of a struggle. But she is my only child so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Another potty training question
IF she really is resisting, I would wait a little bit then start again. My son was screaming and crying when trying to potty train so I am going to wait a few months then revisit.

Another potty training question
If I waited for my ds to tell me he was ready he would be 35. No joke he is super stubborn. I know some will say you can't force them but I knew he could do it. He resisted the first day for a bit but I would not give in.

Re: Another potty training question
I don't think DS was 100 % ready. Maybe 70% ready, but I pushed it along because I wanted him to be potty trained before our new baby arrives. It was tough the first week, but it began clicking after day 6. It took a full 3 weeks for him to be fully trained (at least with peeing). We had no issues at all with pooping. That part clicked right away.
