Ok - I read the other post about needing a new show to watch, and after a lot of thought, I picked Shameless.
1st episode- eh. Worth it? Keep going?

I watched all as a marathon, its good, some shows were so so, I will watch again just to see. It depends on the kind of shows you like, lots drugs, drinking, sex in the show

I felt the SAME way. I had such a hard time getting through the first few episodes, and I nearly gave up.
Some people at work encouraged me to stick it out and I am SOOOO glad I did.
It turned out to be amazing.
You will love it. Just get through the first few boring episodes and I promise you won't be disappointed
The show is INSANE!!

BEST, BEST, BEST show EVER!!!!! DH and I couldn't stop watching. We ripped through EVERY season in just a few weeks. AWESOME show, I would keep watching.

OMG I power watched every season in a matter of like 2 weeks. I was obsessed! Cannot wait for new episodes!!! I absolutely love Emmy Rossum, William H. Macy, Joan Cusack! Honestly the entire cast is incredible.

see, I thought some of the weeks the story line was the same, but the main actor (male, the father) is GREAT, he makes the show IMO.
My supervisor is the only one in my office that watches it, and we also discuses the insanity of the show when I have supervision lol

I just started watching it after seeing so many people reccomend it on that other thread and I'm already a few episodes into season 2 lol. I love it, I hope I can catch up quick cuz the new season starts on the 11th!

Keep going. Trust me. I said the same thing about Shameless & Ray Donovan after the 1st episode. By far the best show on TV.
