Jones beach christmas lights
Has anyone been this year? How long is the line to get in and how much time do you actually spend there? Is it a quick drive through? Also i know it opens at 5 but what time does it close? No one is answering the # that was listed on groupon.

We went. My dd loved it. There was no wait. We drove about 4 miles an hour through it as we love looking at the lights so I want to say probably 30 minutes or so. I think it closes at 9 or 10 not sure.

We did it last Saturday night. Only had to wait about 10 minutes on line. Took us about 20-30 minutes to drive through. It's not very big.

Not worth $25 imo. Is it cheaper now?

For us we waited almost 2 hours and took another hour to exit. We hated it needless to say lol.

Yeah I think $15 for 5 people is fair. I was kind of annoyed I paid $25 but I think at $15 I wouldn't have bitched, lol.

it was a waste of money, imo. not sure where you are coming from but bayport has one at the girl scouts of america and it's cheaper and better.

I agree with this. I was expecting more of the Jones Beach show.

We went on Sunday. Maybe 10 minutes to get in. It felt really quick. We stopped at "Santa's village" which I was expecting to be the highlight for my 2 year old but there was not much there. It was a refreshment building that had an area with Santa. The people at the entrance were yelling out $10 for santa picture, so we didn't go over to him(we already did Santa pics at 3 other places). There was an outdoor hay maze, but it wasn't lit very well. DD liked leading me through. And there were some places to cook smores (didn't see the price for it).

this about sums up our experience too. we went day after thanksgiving with out of town family. if you saw it before it closed 7 years ago then it was an exact repeat... it was not worth it.
