Where to bring 4yo DD for her birthday?

My DD is turning 4 years old soon and I wanted to take her some place fun for her birthday. I'm in Nassau county. She loves activities along the lines of gymnastics, cooking, animals and coloring. Any ideas of something around here?

I took my DD to lunch at American Girl for her 4th. The lunch is not that expensive. They have dolls you can borrow if you don't bring your own. (Brunch is $20, lunch $24, tea $21 and dinner $26). There is usually a parking deal at a close parking garage.

A place like once upon a dish.

Friends took their kids to get their nails done then to a hibachi place.

Adventureland.

Bronx zoo.

LICM, carousel ride next door and then lunch.

Open play at bounce syosset, or one of the play places.

We took DD to American Girl in NYC and it was an incredibly special day for all of us. We are doing it again this year too. She is not going to get another doll though, just some accessories this year.
