Nashville trip, 40th birthday CMA awards
Thinking about doing this for my 40th birthday next year. Has anyone been to the CMA awards? Any suggestions and Tips for where to stay and things to do?

I haven't gone to the CMA's but, have gone to Nashville.
We stayed at the Hilton which is right next to the Bridgestone Arena and all suites. Really liked it.
Definitely go to the Grand Ole Opry - it's not downtown, you will have drive there (you can rent a car, take a cab or get a shuttle) but, it's amazing.

get a package- tickets to cma are not that hard to get but the hotel is hard to get- book asap - hotels are booked a year in advanced
