Post Vaccine Care

We have plans to go to a friend's house the day after DS is scheduled to get his vaccines (he is just over 4 months old). They have young children...if that matters. Other than the possibility that DS may be lethargic or cranky (his reaction to his 2 month vaccines) are there any precautions post-vaccine? ie: since their immune systems are mildly compromised would you not expose your child to other children for a period of time?

I honestly never worried about that at all.
But DS was VERY cranky for over 24 hours after his 4 month shots, for some reason those were the worst ones for him. But every kid is different.

Dd has not had any issues post vaccination. I would not worry about it.

Same here.
The only shot she ever reacted to was MMR at 15 months and that was just a fever 7 days after the shot.

At 4 months, I wouldn't really be worried because there isn't much interaction. I might try to limit the little kids touching him, but not worry too much about it unless the kids are sick.
