I think its considered Lake Grove. Red Lobster opened up right next to it and both restaurants are right on the service road of the LIE next to the Courtyard by Marriot.

I live in Texas but I will definitely tell the IL's. When we lived upstate NY, they loved it!

Maybe holbrook? It's right off of the LIE near Holbrook/Holtsville right before the Island 16 movie theater.
We really want to go there but everyone said it's tonsa crowded and the wait is horrible so we're waiting for it to die down a bit!
What'd you ahve?

We went there too. I thought Famous Dave's was better, and it seemed like we got a lot more food for the $ there. But the fresh made donuts were really good!

Re: DH and I went to Smoky Bones..
that's a great restaurant!! we went there recently and DH (who grew up in TX) was very impressed.
ETA: Famous Dave's was also good, but I liked what I had at Smokey Bones better. I had the Portobello chicken and it was AMAZING!

Re: DH and I went to Smoky Bones..
I think that Tennessee Jack's in East Islip is better than Famous Dave's, Smokin Al's, etc.
