Baby laying on her stomach

I keep putting my 11 month old on her back and the second I leave her room, she sits up and lays on her stomach face down.. She's never done this before. I keep puttin her back on her back and she goes right back to her stomach. Do I keep moving her back? Is this just what babies do?

If she can get on her stomach... she can get off of her stomach.

At 4m dd was rolling from back to belly... she's been sleeping on her tummy ever since. Ped said it was fine.

It freaks me out when my kids do this. How the heck do they breathe?? But somehow they do. They are fine. At 11 mo she can get all around. I used to turn their heads too. Lol(I do still sometimes if I'm in there. Lol)

Baby laying on her stomach

DS has been sleeping on his belly since 4 months- I used to put him down for tummy time at 2 months and he'd pass out. He's 18 months now and still a belly sleeper, but now uses his bear as a pillow- sometimes it makes me nervous, but he's fine!

Your daughter can get off her belly - she's fine!

This was me when DD started rolling over to her belly in her crib. I remember that night turning her back over so many times and losing sleep. Everyone said she'd be ok. I'd think by 11 months you're definitely fine. I think DD was much younger.

Ok so on her belly is normal.... But is sitting "Indian style" (sorry the only way I can describe it right now) and bent over forward with her face to the side normal? She just did this... Omg I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight... I just feel so nervous

They sleep however they are comfortable. Mine likes her face smushed into the mattress, move her and she goes right back. Right now her butt is in the air and I can't see her face because its smudged. She has slept like this since she learned to roll over.

my son slept only on his back until he was almost 9 months old, then he figure out how to sleep on his tummy and started sleeping in all kinds of weird positions. at first i would get up a million times a night to check on him but now i figure he will move if he's uncomfortable. right now he's in there all squished up with his butt in the air LOL.

My almost six month old son has been only wanting to sleep on his tummy for the past week. I let him because he just flips when I put him on his back, but I have barely gotten any sleep worrying about him and checking on him!
