Re: How did you give birth ?

Scheduld c section

Twins were breech,I have blood clotting issues for me this was safest and I do not regret it at all

I will schedule my next one and have zero desire for a vbac and when people say I'm crazy or "missing out" on labor,I really don't care lol

Vaginal w epidural x2.

I almost had a section (for good reasons).

Honestly, you will see, whatever is needed to have a healthy baby. I had a normal pregnancy, but when things got started, I was glad to have a NICU doc at my bedside. Would have gladly had a CS even if there was a slim chance that by not having one, I'd put my kid at risk.

Re: How did you give birth ?

Cervedil when I got to hospital. Vaginal with epi, but it totally wore off by the time I had my daughter. I felt everything. I pushed about 4 hours.

Re: How did you give birth ?

One emergency C-sec and one planned C-sec.

My first dd I was in labor for 22 hours after my water broke, I had poticin and cervadil and nothing would get me to go past 3cm. My dd heart rate kept dropping so I had an emergency csec.

Re: How did you give birth ?

C-section after being induced 45 hours prior. I made it to 9 cm DS wound up in NICU because I had a fever (and pre-eclampsia). My doctor waited as long as she did because I didn't want a section. Sometimes I get upset with myself, because my fever came on the last hour of labor. If I just had the section sooner, mane he wouldn't have been in NICU!

How did you give birth ?

DS # 1- induced at 41w1d, labored for 9 hours, no epi. Had him vaginally with no complications.
DS # 2- water broke at 39w2d, labored for 21 hours, no epi, vaginally with no complications.
I am currently 6w with baby # 3, hoping I can go natural again.

Was induced but only needed Cervadil, no Pitocin. Delivered vaginally with an epidural.

Re: How did you give birth ?

DD1: vaginal worth an epi... Which did not slow down labor but they do turn it off so you can push... I don't think it wears off as much as they turn it off so you can feel when to push...

DS: born very quickly at home... No drugs.. No hospital. Went from fingertip dilated at hospital to baby on doorstep in less than an hour

Dd#2: born quickly at hospital without drugs.. She came too quick not enough time for an epidural!

Vaginal, drug free. I feel very lucky that I got exactly the birth experience that I wanted.

Re: How did you give birth ?

Two births...vaginal both times...first time had epi...it slowed everything down and by the time I pushed I was feeling everything.that birth was induced...second time went into labor at home...was in denial for most of the day...ended up on my knees in the car...water broke..delivered 20 mins after being admitted to the hospital via the ER..no drugs...felt everything...fantastic experience..if I had been lucky to have a third this is defnitely the way I would have gone..stay home for as long as you can.

Re: How did you give birth ?

Two c-sections.

One baby was frank breech and he never would've come out with the c.

Second baby was a c section just bc the first one was. My doctor refused a VBac. That was very frustrating and upsetting to me.

Vaginally with an epi. I was smooth sailing until dr broke my water, such intense pain and I needed that epi. I wish he didn't break my water, I think I could have done it epi free.

How did you give birth ?

I had really wanted a drug free vaginal birth. It was really important to me to the point that I sought out a doctor who I knew would support that decision. I found a dr/midwife team I loved and was fully planning my natural birth. I read books on the Bradley method and everything. Then at 36 weeks we found out dd was breech, and even though I tried getting her to turn by doing different exercised and letting the dr try to turn her manually, she wouldn't flip. So I had no choice but to get the c/s bc my dr said it would be to risky not to. I was very upset at the time BUT in the end it doesn't matter anymore to me how dd was born because I'm just so happy she's here and she and I are healthy.

What?? People actually think you're missing out on feeling like your insides are being gutted with a 12 inch knife???

I agree the miracle of life is beautiful but lets cut the shit - there is nothing beautiful or fun about having your vagina stretched/torn wide open! Chat Icon

I had vaginal with DS and an emergency C section with DD

drug free, labored at home as much as possible and then left for the hospital to be checked. Our doctor knew our wishes so he didn't admit me (though I was 4 cm dialated) so that we could stay on the premises and walk around and drink freely ect. It was perfect.

I was going to say, when I was trying to push something the size of a watermelon out my who-ha and feeling like someone was cutting my vag and a-hole open with a serrated-edge knife, the LAST thing I was thinking of as I was screaming bloody murder and begging the Doctor to "Just PULL HER OUT!" was how beautiful this birthing experience was!

and THATS why I was so totally happy she was breech Chat Icon LOL

Major surgery? I guess sure.. but Major trauma pushing that out of you? Yeah no thanks. I was up and walking the next day. Recovery was pretty mild considering they'd just cut me open, pulled stuff out then her then put me together.
