Spitting up
Ds is 10 weeks old and recently he started spitting up 2-3 hours after a feeding. He used to spit up a little while I burped him but that's stopped. Now he will just be laying around 2-3 hours after a feeding and he spits up. It's not projectile but is it normal? Is there anything I can do for him? He spits up while in the rock n play and bouncer seat which are both on an incline (he also spits up while on the play mat but I thought maybe that was because he was laying flat). He gets Mylanta not sure if that's helping or hurting the issue

Spitting up
My doctor said if he is happy and gaining weight then spitting up is not an issue. My DS spits up quite a bit - I am hoping he outgrows it soon!
ETA: sometimes he spits up when burped; other times it is 1-2 hours after nursing.

Re: Spitting up
Some babies just spit up more than the norm
If he is gaining and eating fine and it's not bothering him then I'm sure he is fine

Re: Spitting up
DS1 was a happy spitter and frequently spit up at least 2 hours after a feeding. If he doesn't seem bothered by it, I wouldn't worry. Just buy a lot of bibs.

Re: Spitting up
DS spit up A LOT. For a long time. I want to say 8 months? Eventually it got better and then just totally stopped. But it was totally normal. As long as he's gaining weight, there isn't anything to worry about. And there's nothing you can do about it except wait for him to outgrow it. Babies have immature digestive tracts so that's why they spit up.
