Tiki Action Park Birthday Party
Has anyone ever been to Tiki Action Park in Centereach, and or had/been to a birthday party there?
DS is Turning 5 in September and we're trying to plan something this year. Besides his first, we've only done immediate family parties but he's been to a bunch this year and I think he really wants a party of his own with his friends.
The packages they have sound pretty good - they have something called the Mission Impossible Lazer Maze that looks awesome, but I'm not sure if it it a little old for his crowd or not. He's never played mini golf so that's why we thought the maze would be cool. And I think most kids like arcades.
Any info about any of it would be really appreciated!!

just visit it in person before booking. the place IS FUN but it def. looks run down (at least a few years ago when we went). Not sure how that changes your decision at all.

Tiki Action Park Birthday Party
The mini golf there is awesome, best around here IMO, and we mini golf a lot. The building itself is just okay. The parties look cute though if you get the outdoor area with the tiki themed stuffed. We have never done the lazer maze, just the golf and go karts (which are also fun, and you go around like 20 times unlike most places).

Re: Tiki Action Park Birthday Party
Thank You! We did take a ride out to see it. The arcade is kind of small, but ok. Didn’t really see the go-carts (originally was thinking of not doing that but they said the kids would probably be able to ride with adults so maybe that would be fun)and it sounds cool. I liked the golf course – but I’m wondering how a group of 10-13 5 year olds will be playing. We played with DS yesterday since we were there and he liked it – but doesn’t want to play by the rules. Doesn’t wait till his ball stops. It didn’t matter for us, but I’m worried if some kids who have played a bunch want to play by the rules, they’ll be annoyed if he doesn’t. I know, it doesn’t matter that much.
The maze looked cool – I wanted to try it – but DS walked in and got freaked out b/c it was so dark and he didn't know what he was supposed to do so, he’s not interested in that.
We’re still not sure – might go with a bounce place that is closer to us since the Tiki place is a bit of a hike for some classmates – and the bounce place there’s no problem if it rain. Plus, letting kids run free for a couple of hours is sometimes our best plan. We’ll see. Seems like a decent deal though and cute.

Tiki Action Park Birthday Party
I've been to a birthday party there...it was really cute. We did mini-golf, the arcade and the laser thing. IMO, the laser maze was CRAP!!! It's just a big dark room where the kids crawl on the floor and it kinda looked gross in there, BUT, the kids did seem to like it and everything else was very well done.
