Ds is 9 weeks and very gassy
We have tried gripe water, gas drops, gerber soothe and the pediatrician just suggested malox. Ds seems to be capable of long stretches of sleep at night but he wakes up crying bc if gas. The past few nights I'll give him a pacifier, he will fart and then sleep peacefully for another two hours which is feeding time. If love to help him with the gas and of course get more sleep. Anyone have any suggestions??

Maybe LO needs to burp a bit longer after feeding. I think if they get all the burps out, less air goes out the other way. When they have gas, moving their legs like a bicycle can help to get it out. There is a prescription gas drop if you haven't tried those. Eventually, LO will learn how to get the gas out. Good luck!

Is he formula or breastfeed? If formula you can go to a sensitive type. If breastfeeding you can futz around with your diet and see if anything is the cause (dairy etc)

My dd is ebf and came out with gas. She is 9 months and still wakes up in the middle of the night with gas. We use gas drops and they do help but she still wakes every few hours screaming. We have tried bicycle legs and I have not eaten dairy in years. At this point nothing seems to help. My pedi said some babies are just gassy and their bodies will learn to deal with it.
