diaper pail really needed?
We started with a simplehuman garbage but when the diapers were really stinky (when baby started food), we needed the diaper dekor and it's very necessary...

diaper pail really needed?
Needed no... I was handed down one so we use it for poop in my dd's room... When we are downstairs, I just put the stinky diaps in scented diaper bags from dollar tree and that works well enough.

We loved that diaper dekor pail. Yes, I think it's necessary unless you want to be wrapping up gross diapers and walking them outside all the time.

I used to have 2, one for each floor of my house. Both eventually broke. With this baby I wrap it in a scented plastic bag and discard in trash that goes out regularly. To me diaper pails are not worth it.

i have twins, i had one and def needed it, there was no way i was taking diapers outside after every change i would have spent more time outside lol
yes after awhile the diaper pail itself would smell, they sell fresheners you can put in the bottom of the pail and also we would periodically wash/bleach it just like a regular garbage can
honestly you will gets responses for and against its really up to you and what you think will work best for you

diaper pail really needed?
I never used mine and ended up giving it away! I personally could not leave poopy diapers sitting overnight but that's just me. I know people love it. I guess it's a preference but I def don't think it's necessary.

I dont think it is necessary but it is helpful for us since we dont make enough trash to take it out every single day.
Same. We use ours all the time. We always change DD's diaper up in her room, so it's nice to have the pail right there to toss the diaper.

I never used one with DS and we don't use one with DD now either.
I don't like the idea of smelly diapers filled with poop sitting in a pail until its full enough to get tossed. I just toss them in shopping bags and toss them in the garbage outside. Granted I live in a co-op so it goes down the shoot right away. However, at my moms she just tosses them right outside her back door in a garbage bag and then takes them to the garbage pail the next time she or someone walks out there during the day.

People will say they don't like the idea of smelly diapers in a pail but for me I empty it daily I just don't like a dirty diaper in my garbage pail stinking up my kitchen, much prefer it in the diaper genie, empty frequently and has never smelled.
