Strawberries (allergy or coincidence)
Last week I gave my 10.5 month old DD a strawberry. About an hour later she had a really crazy big BM. I made a note of it, but didn't think much of it. Today, I gave her a strawberry again. Again, about an hour later, crazy nasty poop!
I am not sure if this is a sign she's not ready for strawberries or if it's a coincidence.
Note: she hasn't had any strawberries between the first one and the one I gave her today.

Allergies are usually a rash. If I give my kids a lot of fruit they blow up diapers like nobodies business. Try giving some 3 days in a row but not a lot. Like half a berry a day.

I think if it were an allergy it would be a rash or hives. Something of that nature.

They are also acidic and may just be bothering her belly. Not necessarily an allergy.

Fruit in general loosens things up. But I agree.. rash is an allergy.

DS is allergic to strawberries. When he eats one, his entire body breaks out in hives. It has never affected his BMs.
