CT beaches?
Hi ladies, I want to take my 2 yo triplets to the beach but the ocean terrifies me and I hear the bays are skeevy. I live in bayside right by the bridge and was wondering if there were any nice, public or cheaper beaches on the sound in Fairfield county Ct? It's a lark but I thought I would ask. Tia!

Re: CT beaches?
I used to lifeguard for the town of Fairfield beaches. There are some really nice ones. You can pay for the day at the bigger ones like Jennings and Penfield. There are a few small ones, Sasco and South Pine Creek which are really lovely and small. Not too rocky and the waves of course are nothing there. If you are looking for something really beautiful I would recommend Sasco. If you are looking for something that is almost empty I would recommend South Pine Creek. If you want to pay at the gate for a big family beach, I would recommend Jennings.
Low tide is gorgeous as Sasco. Especially around the full moon.... Oh, how I miss those summer days.
