Night wetting

DS is almost 4.5 - a few months ago he was doing great at night, staying dry so we stopped with the pullups. Then he was having accidents nightly so we went back to them. The last 2 months - he says he's a "big boy" and refuses - so we r back to underwear. Thing is - every other night we pee - I finally got smart and only change an extra top pad I put on top, but still end up washing a ton b/c of course more gets wet. Anyway - any ideas? How long will this go on? I know its fairfly normal but we're all exhausted - plus we have twins coming in fall and I'm hoping he'll be better by then (realizing he may regress when they arrive). Any advice?

He gets milk before bed, but I've tried making it earlier and we always go potty before bed.

Re: Night wetting

I would cut off all liquids by 6pm (or right after dinner)

Re: Night wetting

Rather than limit liquids we just use a diaper for bed time. The pediatrician said its a physical thing and kids can't always control up to like 7 years old.

At 5.5 yrs DH still carries DS to the potty at about 10 or 11 to make sure he pees. Otherwise I think he would wet the bed. Could you try that? I still try to limit liquids after dinner.

Night wetting

DS stopped wearing pull ups at night at 2 years old. He goes to sleep at 7:30, then I wake him up at 11-( right when I am getting ready to go to sleep) for a quick peepee. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't.
He is 4 and we didn't have an accident in way over a year

Re: Night wetting

i have the same issue and not sure what to do.
I don't think waking him up is an option for us, it would take at least an hour for him to fall back asleep.
if you find a solution, please share!
