Anyone fly Jet Blue out of JFK lately?
I'm wondering about the whole security issue. What is the deal with my DD's water that I mix with pedi lite can I bring it? Also snacks? I'd hate to rely on what they have there.

I'm flying out of JFK Jetblue at the end of the month and I'm interested to know as well. I keep reading and rereading their guidelines but I'd much rather know from a BTDT parent.

You can bring water for your DD. New bottle, opened bottle, sippy with water- it's all allowed. I've flown 3 roundtrips with kids in the last couple of months. You can bring breast milk, formula, etc. I recently flew with 300 oz of frozen breastmilk without any questions asked. With the water they will place a paper strip over it to check for fumes or something. All via Jet Blue out of jfk.

Yes you can bring whatever for the kids. Drinks snacks.
They just took the bottles and swiped them with a special paper and ran the paper the ought the machine. Another flight they had put the closed bottle into a machine. It sounds weird but I watched it the whole time.
When you are going through security I took out the liquids and put then in a bin. When it went thought the X-ray they pulled it out and asked me step aside. I put on my sneakers while waiting. It was right there. Maybe 5 minutes and we were on our way. Shockingly it's not that hard lol.

We just flew Jet Blue last week. I had a cooler with her milk, water, pouches, puffs, and other snacks. They put the milk cup in a machine (I watched the entire time), as for her water, I had to open it up and they put a strip above it.

pedia lyte should be fine as long as it's in a sealed bottle. you'll probably have to buy a bottle of water once you pass through though.
I broughts snacks w/o an issue.
I also had a larger than 3oz bottle of motrin with me, they did some scan of the bottle - she said she had to confrim the contents .......

also, I found JFK to be MUCH more lenient w/ security than Orlando ariport - just an FYI not sure what airport your coming back through -

I brought ice packs for our flight to aruba to keep DS's antibiotics cold. We also had 8 0z bottles of formula with us (that were sealed). You just have to give them to the TSA agents so they can put them in a different machine to scan them.
