We just did this trip and had a blast! My DD is a big eater, so I packed a cooler for the hotel fridge of fruits, yogurt, string cheese, water, etc... and snacks for throughout the day.

We used the crib provided by the hotel which worked out great, they are very family friendly!

Re: Packing for dutch woderlans

We just came back from there. We've gone 4 years in a row. LOVE that place.

We always bring our travel high chair. It's all plastic and attaches to a regular chair. It helped keep my 17 mo contained when we were getting ready and for quick meals in the room.

Also bring a couple of pool toys, like small plastic watering cans for the kids to play with by the sprinkler area.

Also consider getting a small fan that attaches to the stroller for when you are at the park. You can get it at BRU or Amazon for less than $20. I use my every summer and every time we are away, people comment on it.

They provide regular cribs (not pack and plays) ??
We are staying there soon... I didn't even think to ask. We were just gonna bring our pack and play!

They provide porta-cribs, which are white metal cribs, but smaller than a regular crib. The mattress is smaller too, more like the size of a pack&play. The mattress has a sheet and they provide a light blanket. I use my own blankets though...what my DD is used to at home.

If they run out of those, I think they have pack&plays as backup.

I bring a container of Clorox wipes and wipe it down really well. They look clean, but you never know.

The crib looks like this:

Re: Packing for dutch woderlans

bring more than one bathing suit and towel so you can easily change in/out
Bring a comfy change of clothes to keep in your trunk or at the bottom of the stroller to change them out of their wet suits ......if they fall asleep in the car, they're already dry and changed/comfortable.
I also ususally bring a few cars (I have boys) for them to play w/ at the hotel .....for some reason, their usual toys in a new place is a big deal and keeps them occupied when we're tying to wind them down ........

and bringing your snacks / drinks will save a fortune!

Have fun !! LOVE that resort !
