Fun things to do at Myrtle Beach?
My kids like:
Brookgreen Gardens - a beautiful area south of Myrtle with a small zoo Broadway at the Beach - they really like eating at Margaritaville (the atmosphere is good and they have someone who makes balloon animals - the food is eh) and then going to the rides (they have two sections of small kiddie rides). Ripleys Aquarium there is nice too (but, pricey)
ETA - There is a ton of mini golf as well!

Re: Fun things to do at Myrtle Beach?
We took DS to the Children's museum last time we were there... Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, there is Pirates Voyage if your LO's are old enough to sit through a dinner theatre... we like eating at Ultimate California Pizza. We usually like to get the coupon books from the grocery store and go through them, gives you lots of ideas for activities. Also last time I was there they were building the Hollywood Wax Museum, excited to check it out next time I'm down there.

Re: Fun things to do at Myrtle Beach?
Well I'm not sure how old your kids are, but here are some ideas:
Broadway at the beach: kiddie rides, the aquarium is really nice, they also have a wonderworks museum which is supposed to be really nice. Haven't been to that one yet. There is so much to see and do as you walk around there. They could feed the ducks, and there are shops like build a bear.
Lots of mini-golf places.
There is a children's museum.
Brookgreen Gardens. They have gardens, a mini-zoo and I think a butterfly exhibit.
The beach! and with the beach comes lots of water sports if they are old enough for any of those.
There is a medieval times.
Lots of restaurants. and shopping. There is a tanger outlet there.
There is family kingdom amusement and water park. The water park looked nice from the website. Haven't been to either.

Oh - there are also the Myrtle Beach Pelicans single A team - we've gone to some games there and it's fun. Some nights they have fireworks after.
Your kids would probably enjoy one of the pirate cruises since they are older as well.

Re: Fun things to do at Myrtle Beach?
Plus for their age group they could pretty much do many of the things at broadway on the beach, it could be a few days. Here is the full list of attractions there: http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/myrtle-beach-attractions.aspx
