Cleaning Christening gown
Does anyone have any tips for cleaning a Christening gown? My granddaughter will be baptized on July 13th, and DD wants her to wear the gown that she wore at her baptism. I sewed the gown for her when she was a baby. Unfortunately, there are a few stains and the lace on the edges is a little yellow. Any tips for whitening the lace? I already hand washed it in free-and-clear detergent, a lot of the yellowing and stains came out but it's not perfect. Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.

Try soaking in Baby Oxyclean & water in a big bowl or a small tub before hand washing.
We have a very old heirloom gown used for all the kids in my family for 4 generations and the last few times it had yellowing and stains, the baby oxy cleaned it right up.

Cleaning Christening gown
I am not sure where you are located but Pampers in Plainview does a great job on christening gowns. My SIL always goes to them when she has delicate fabrics needing to be cleaned
