we did a candy table for our mickey mouse theme birthday.
all the candy was red and yellow.

we had twizzlers, swedish fish, chocolate covered oreas (yellow and red, went in seconds), gummi bears, red and yellow m&ms, mini hershey chocolates (the big bag you get at costco. it includes a red covered candy bar- rice krispies something, and one with peanuts which is yellow), red and yellow cake pops. can't remember what else.

Will try to find and post pics from home.

edited: also gumballs, lindor truffles (red and yellow) and brownies in red mini cupcake cups
i got red and yellow chinese boxes for people to pack things into.

I have no advice for you in regards to creating the table, but as a guest that was at a party with a candy table, I would suggest you hide the table.

The hosts had created a very nice candy table to go with the theme. They had it all set up and covered with clear clingy wrap and left it in the corner of the party room.

One of the guests decided to help themselves and that just opened the flood gates and all the guests got up.

The hosts were pissed because they didn't have a chance to take any pictures before it was ransacked and it was suppose to be the party favor. People were suppose to get candy on there way out.

We rented a candy cart from patsy the clown and it was amazing!
