what is going on with my 16m old?

I am stumped.

DD woke up Saturday and had thrown up over night. She was totally fine. Acting normal, no fever, not cranky. I kept her home with me all day just to watch her. She was FINE! Ate, drank, no issues.

Fast forward to last night (Tuesday - 3.5 days later) she vomited again last night after her bath while drinking her bottle. Again, no symptoms of anything!

She is teething badly, cutting 4 eye teeth. She has had BM problems going back and forth between constipation and the runs.

The only other thing that is odd is that she ate strawberries before both episodes. Is vomiting a sign of a berry allergy? No hives, no rash.

Could it be a bowel obstruction? She is pushing away foods she would normally eat. OR could her reflux be back? She did have severe reflux from birth to 12m (no treatment since 12 months).

She isn't sick. Or, doesn't appear to be? No fever, no crankiness, she isn't tired or lethargic. Happy, active, sleeping fine.

Thoughts? I will call the ped and see what they say but its so odd!

since you say that she ate strawberries before both episodes..it might have to do with that. I believe that vomiting can be a sign of allergy. I would def call the ped to make sure.

I just googled it and vomiting is a sign of allergy to strawberries.

Vomiting is absolutely a sign of allergy. I was just at an allergist with DS and she reviewed all possible signs of allergy and they are rash/swelling, vomiting, trouble breathing.
