Which is better for a 16 month-18 month old? Or is it too soon for either?

TIA!!!

I would go to DW - It was really cute and there were plenty of cute rides, even for that age group.

I *personally* dislike Sesame. It's VERY small, there isn't a ton to do, and it's primarily a water park. When I took my DD (around age 2) there just wasn't a whole lot for her to do while we were there. We were all bored.

Dutch, but check the height requirements, not sure there is much for them to go on at that age

There is a decent amount that they can go on at Dutch at that age - you may have to go on most rides with them though. My 2 year old is under 36 inches (at the ped he measured 35 but against the signs at Dutch he looked more like 33) and he was able to go on a ton of things.

I haven't been to DW yet, but we took DS to Sesame Place for the day and he enjoyed it. We did the character breakfast and he met all of his favorite characters, did some rides in Cookie Monster Land, they have some shows like Elmo the Musical, and Elmo Rocks.. he played in the baby pool. It is a small park though, so we were done by 430.

I have not been to DW yet either but we went to Sesame Place and my son LOVED it. He LOVED the characters, loved the rides and loved the Count pool! The shows were great for that age as well.

We took DS to Sesame when he was 14-months-old, but we went in October. We had a great time! It was too late in the season for water rides, but we didn't miss them. They had plenty to do for Halloween. The look on my son's face when he saw the characters was priceless.

Re: Sesame Place or Dutch Wonderland

Never been to Dutch..Hoping to go this year though. We did take DD at 3 to Sesame place...She LOVED it. She loved hugging all the characters, the parade is adorable, we did the character dinner, which she loved dancing with the characters..so much fun. Was the food good?? I thought it was just ok..nothing special...but I only did it for my DD who was having the time of her life. They just opened up a new area where the ropes used to be so Id like to check it out. Cookie monster land.

FYI there is a hibachi place less than 10 minutes from Sesame with great food and kids eat free sun/mon/tues. character meals are lots of fun but we try to eat here as well because DS loves it
