Moms of girls - hair cut question.

My 2 yr old DD has a mullet so I just always put her hair up in a pony tail or pig tails.

I want to get her hair cut b/c I'm sure her poor little head could use a break from her hair being up all the time (it's super fine too) but then she'll lose her amazing little girl curls. Chat Icon

I'm 99.9% sure I'm not cutting her hair anytime soon b/c I can't stand the thought of losing those curls.

But I'm curious - when did you cut your daughter's hair?

DD got her first haircut around 2 years, 3 months. I was worried about her losing her curls and she didn't. Her hair looked SO much better after I got it cut. It wasn't super long to begin with, so I didn't really think she needed a cut, but it was a big improvement.

Re: Moms of girls - hair cut question.

My dd will be 4 in August and we just got her hair trimmed it's very long to her butt. We just got it trimmed to even it out. I love long hair.

I cut my girls bangs every few weeks by myself.

DD is a little over 2 and we haven't cut it yet. It's definitely pretty uneven but I have no plans to cut it any time soon. I usually put the top in a half ponytail and sometimes put a second one at the bottom if it's hot or she's eating something messy. Sometimes I just do a clip to pull back the front. I only get my own hair cut about once a year so I know I'll probably be bad with hers too!

My DD is 3 and has never had a haircut. Her hair is long with banana curls at the bottom. Its pretty even too! I don't think I will be cutting it for a while.

Her hair is rarely down because it gets in her face and clips do not stay in it. I usually do half up/ half down, a braid, two braids, or a ponytail.

My oldest was 3.5 and her younger sister was maybe 2.5-3. Let me tell you, my oldest had a ton of curls and 5 years after her first cut, she still does!

Dd is 3 and we haven't cut her hair yet. We will probably get a trim soon as I think the ends need cleaning up

dd1 has a ton of hair always has. The first year she had this annoying long piece in front. I cut for her first birthday party. Then 2 or 3 times after that. she's 4 now. But we have straight thick hair. It def helped her hair grow in, to get of some of the baby fine hair

DDs are 4 and 2 and have never had a haircut. DD1 has very long RED curly hair that is just gorgeous...but it does need a trim soon.

DD2 has short blonde curly hair that I'm letting grow out. Although she just had 12 stitches on her forehead last week so maybe we'll cut bangs soon. Chat Icon

My dd was 5 in April and has never had her hair cut. It is very long and has curls at the bottom. I will be bringing her to get a little trim of the edges next week.

We just cut DD2's hair today, she is 3 1/2. It was starting to look a little ratty at the ends so we trimmed it to even it out with the front. She still has some curl but not the banana curls :(

DD got her first haircut at just under 15 months. But it was mainly bc it kept falling in her eyes, and she won't wear bows. It was a bang trim.

Moms of girls - hair cut question.

DD turned 2 in April. All I have done so far is cut her bangs. She has those baby curls in the back of head too that I can't part with. She won't let me put a clip or anything in her hair, so she will be rocking the bang cut/mullet look for awhile.
