Postpartum AF & the pill
When I was 6 weeks PP and I got checked out by my doctor, we decided I would go back on the pill for BC. Sure enough, 28 days after I started it up, I got my first postpartum AF. Ok fine.
Except now for the past few months, I get AF like a week and a half before it's supposed to kick in, so I keep taking my active pills but I end up having my period for like 12 days or whenever I start a new active pack. I'm just over 6 months PP and it's been happening for the past 2-3 cycles.
It feels like I have it every 2 weeks now, lasting nearly that long! Any advice?? Any similar situations out there?!

Re: Postpartum AF & the pill
If you're bleeding while on BCPs it's called breakthrough bleeding. It likely means it's not the right level of hormones in the pill for you. The rule of thumb is that if this happens after you've been on the pill for 3 months, it's time to try a new pill. Just call your dr and have her change you to a different pill. When I first went on BCP years ago, it took 2 or 3 tries to find one that worked with my body.

Talk to your dr and switch the pill. It isn't working right.
