15 month old....
My 15 month old DS has been waking up 1-1.5 hours earlier the last 1-2 weeks. Is it normal for them to just require less sleep at this point, or could it be something else... a few things going on now are:
1- Two of his molars have cut and are in, one is mostly cut and one is trying really hard to cut and driving us insane.
2- He is eating like a maniac, and I am pretty sure shot up like 2 inches. So I am think he is in the middle or just had a growth spurt?
3 - we tried the milk to sippy transition. It did not go well, so we have just left his mid-day milk in the sippy and keeping bottles for his morning and evening bottles.
He is going to bed at the same time, 9pm. If he goes later, he does not sleep later and I really wouldn't want him going to bed any later than that anyway!
what are all your mommy thoughts? New routine, or caused by something above and we will go back? We were spoiled cause he would sleep to 730 easy... now is 545-630 wake up, but more so 6-ish.

DS did that at one point - lasted a few weeks and then he went back to normal.
ps: people say that if you put babies down to sleep earlier, they actually sleep longer, though I can't say from experience.

DS's sleep habits change all the time. I would just roll with it.

DD is going through the same exact thing. They are after all 1 day apart 
Although she still takes 2 naps a day, she has been waking up 1-2 hours earlier than she normally would.
I tried transition her milk from bottle to sippy and she lost it! She refuses to drink anything but her water out of the sippy. For now I am sticking with the bottle (don't judge).

no he has been down to just 1 a day for a while now! He only does 2 if we are in the car alot on a weekend day!

OMG... you would think i was giving him poison when we try to do milk in a sippy. screaming, crying, running to fridge pointing and yelling "ba-ba" its crazy. There are worse things that a 15 month old using a bottle, so we decided to only keep the afternoon one in a sippy cause of day care and just hold out on the other 2.
I hope these sleep thing works itself out for both G and C!!! .

Nothing wrong with it in my book ... they're still babies and are comforted by bottles so why not! (DS still gets his night-time milk from a bottle at 19 months)

try putting him to bed earlier. the later my DD goes to bed, the earlier she wakes up....even now at 4 yrs old.
Whats the nap schedule? maybe cut down to one long one in early afternoon or a shorter one.

he only takes one nap a day. It is usually 1.5-2 hours, maybe 2.5... this week he has been going 3+ probably cause he is waking up so darn early. But it is hard to adjust that during the week as he is at day care. He really wants his milk when he wakes up, which is strange for him. But he is eating so much to begin with, I don't know how much more I can feed him!!!

My gut tells me this and/or a growth spurt based on his hunger and eating habits this week. But maybe I am hoping its that so that it goes back to normal!!
