Kid's Pool Question

I need to replace our kiddie pool this summer and need suggestions. I would like to ideally find something that I dont need to fill up and empty every day, something that I can fill up with water and cover and not have to change the water for a couple of days- does such a thing exist?

Re: Kid's Pool Question

I think they make those bigger pools you put together yourself that have a small filter you can run.

I remember them from when I was a kid and am almost positive I saw them at Target or someplace similar.

For the tiny plastic pools, honestly, I would want to dump it after each use. The water gets so dirty and DS realistically doesn't use it daily, I'd be afraid of it attracting Mosquitos and who knows what else. Chat Icon

We picked up an easy set intex pool this year. It comes with a little filter and you can get a cover too.

Re: Kid's Pool Question

we have an intex. We still put it up and take down every year. It is so easy. I would not leave the water in there all year round.

Not sure how big your child is, but if they are small enough what about using a sandbox? I know a few of them have a top.

If you leave water longer than 1 day you need a filter and chlorine. Look into intex pools

Kid's Pool Question

If you don't want to fill each use then you are going to need something with a filter and chemicals otherwise the water will get nasty. I wouldn't use a pool and let the water sit more than a day or two without the filter/chemicals.

The intex are super easy and warm up quick. Bouts is usually in the high 80s all summer.
