Which bottles slowest flow?
We have been trying to use born free with DS but the level 1 nipple is too fast for him. That seems to be the slowest flow they make. Does any brand have a slower nipple flow?
Thanks.

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
We use Dr Browns bottles with their level 1 nipple. DS and DD have not had any issues with them.
The level one nipple only has 1 hole and it's tiny!

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
I had this problem with DD as well. I wanted to use the Dr. Brown's and Avent and they were just too fast for her.
Playtex IMO makes the slowest level nipple out there. I still use if for DD at 5 months old because the medium flow makes her suck down 7 oz in 5 minutes!!

The Playtex ventair no 1 were slower than dr browns. My babies couldn't suck from them when we switched. (same size nipple for both bottles)

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
We've been using Dr. Brown's with a level 2 since DD was 5 weeks old. The feeding specialist at the hospital recommended this for her reflux after a suck/swallow study was done.

Playtex drop ins. The slow flow nipple on those was pretty slow and my DD had reflux.

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
Playtex drop ins have pretty slow nipples. It's what we used for our first dd who had horrible issues with gas. Our Ped suggested them because they have slower nipples.

Dr Browns also has a preemie flow nipple. I used that for DS after he came home from the NICU.

Which bottles slowest flow?
Playtex but it depends on the nipple. I have all of them so I feel like I've become an expert on them lol. These are all slow flow:
Breastlike shape nipple - slowest. Takes DD at least 30 mins to finish a 4oz bottle.
Full size nipple - a little faster. Takes DD about 15-17 mins to finish a 4oz bottle. We prefer these.
Naturalatch nipple - fastest. DD finishes a 4oz bottle in 10 mins or less. Way too fast for a slow nipple IMO. We're saving them until she's ready to transition to a medium flow.
We tried Tommy Tippee and Avent bottles and their slow flow nipples were much too fast for DD.

I have no recommendations since we struggle with this as well. I will say the Avent ones are way too fast. The two times he had a bottle with this nipple I thought he was drowning.

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
We tried several with my dd. I thought playtex ventaire slow flow nipples were easily the slowest. The premie nipples for dr browns were next.

Which bottles slowest flow?
We found the playtex ventaire slow (natural latch) so super slow we moved on..it was taking forever and getting frustrating for ds but might work for you..

Re: Which bottles slowest flow?
Playtex Ventaire had a really slow flow on their level 1. It was the only nipple size my son could use as he would choke on everything else..
