Re: Is it wrong to want to be alone?
I am planning my own getaway to Scottsdale for a spa weekend alone.
I am weighing this against going to Europe with a girlfriend.
I am leaning towards weekend alone in Arizona.

I don't think it's wrong to want to be alone- i think everyone feels that way at some point. Life is stressful and sometimes you need a break. I personally wouldn't do more than a couple of days. I think a week away is unfair to DH and would be very stressful for him.

See for a me its not 'unfair' as long as he gets his own week. I was gone in NYC for the weekend and he dropped her off at my aunt's house so he had the house to himself for a whole weekend. He's more of a stay home kind of guy. But as far as AJ goes he is more than capable and its no added stress.
Me a week is a good number because I would travel (which is how this came into my head) so you lose two days one in getting there and one in coming back. So that leaves a few days in between. 2 days may be enough but I would like to find out the hard way.

That makes sense for you. I have a 2 yo and 5 mth old and while DH is great with them he would def go crazy for a week lol!
