How long in advance can you sterilize pump parts/bottles?

How long in advance can you sterilize pump parts/bottles?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I EBF and want to start pumping a small stash, but I sterilized everything last weekend, but didn't get around to pumping so I put it in the storage bag that came with the pump.
Do I have to re sterilize?
I don't understand sterilizing bc once if hits the air it's no longer sterile...the entire things just seems silly to me, but my Ds is only 10 weeks.

Its fine. I would go ahead & use it. Nothing is 100% sterile unless ur in an OR.

It's fine as long as they've been kept in a clean environment (like not laying out on the kitchen counter)

I only sterilized my pump stuff initially. Since then I just use soap and hot water.

Same here... I used to sterilize the parts once a day, then after a while I did it once a week, now I just wash everything really well each time I use it.

It is fine. The initial sterilization is to remove any potential contamination from manufacturing/packing, etc.
