Clothing sizes

Ds is 4. Size 3t is too short on the legs but 4 is too big on the waist and crotch. Suggestions??

4t and 5t come before a 4, so try those first.

A lot of pants have adjustable waist bands that you can tighten. Have you tried those?

Yah I have the adjustable pants but they still look ridiculous! Indeed to adjust the waist on 3s still.

I was hoping one brand made skinny pants in 4 or longer in 3

My ds is in a 2t for length but has a waist of a 12 m old. We get the adjustable pants and do our best.

I agree with trying 4T, but they also may be short. Summer's coming, so length won't matter for a while. Maybe he'll catch up a bit by September.

try century 21 or tjmaxx for the "brand name" clothes. I know they have calvin kleins in slim fit.
DS owns a pair but can't wear them because while he has a tiny waist, he also has muscular thighs and the pants are too tight in the thighs.

My DD has the same problem. I find Gap/Old Navy to work well.
