Need help with sleeping
My son will be three months on the 15th and I'm having a lot of trouble getting him to sleep anywhere besides his swing.
I have a rock n play sleeper and he will occasionally sleep there. Refuses to sleep in the bassinet portion of the pack n play. Haven't tried the regular portion yet. I haven't set up the crib yet because I think if he won't go in the pack n play he won't go in the crib?
I know it's not the best for him to sleep in the swing but I am so tired at night that I just let him because I just need him to sleep (and he gets so over tired and cries and cries. The swing soothes him.
Any helpful suggestions?

Do you swaddle him? DD will sleep in the RNP and swing fine without being swaddled but needs to be swaddled to sleep in the crib or other flat surface.
She also sleeps so much better in the crib than in the PNP. Maybe the mattress is more comfortable? I have no idea lol.

Need help with sleeping
My DD needs to be swaddled to sleep in her crib. She wakes easily if I use a sleep sack. I would try swaddling you LO tightly and put him in the pack and play or sleeper.

Maybe try moving his bedtime earlier. Do a small bedtime routine every night. Lotion massage, books, bottle. All with little light on.
Get a marpac dahm white noise machine.

He absolutely hates being swaddled. He grunts and squirms until hr busts out.

Have you tried a swaddleme type thing instead of just a blanket? We have an Aden & Anais easy swaddle blanket that snaps. It's like a straight jacket lol. There's no way to break free.

Dd on,y like being swaddling n the first month. Then she would try so hard just to get her arms out it was counter productive.

Yes I have them and would you believe he busted out of it?! I was shocked when I woke up and saw him with both arms out and the Velcro undone. He's like the Incredible Hulk or has super human strength.
Maybe I will try one of those but with his arms out.

I swaddle my daughter with her arms out or else she breaks free. It is worth trying.

You're not alone. DS2 started STTN at 10 weeks, but it was in the swing. He'd sleep a little here and there in the RNP, but he definitely slept better in the swing. He wanted nothing to do with the crib. I let him sleep in the swing for a long time, but it was worth it to me for all of us to sleep well.

At 3 months DS was still doing a lot of sleeping in his swing. Once they want to sleep on their tummies, they will naturally want to sleep elsewhere.
I'd also try the crib. The pack n play and crib are very different. DS always slept well in his crib but still doesn't sleep well in the pnp. I think it's b/c it's much harder and lower.

Guess where my son slept last night??
His crib!
I swaddled him with his arms out. I rocked him to sleep in the glider as part of our normal routine. Once he was asleep I laid him down carefully in the crib. He started to cry so I put my hand on his belly and shushed him and rubbed him for a few seconds and he fell back asleep and stayed asleep all night.
