how long to wean off formula?
how much milk did you put in each bottle gradually?
and how long did you take?
dd usually takes 6 oz so i put 4 oz formula and 2 oz milk. when did you up it and then go to only milk?

Honestly.. we did it in like 3 days. I think my pediatrician told us an ounce a day, and we just did 2... She had already had yogurt and stuff..

We did a slow transition, but the ped had recommended replacing an oz or 2 of formula with milk, every 3-4 days.

We did first week 2 oz milk 4oz formula. Next week 4oz milk 2 oz formula. Stuck on the 2oz formula since I'm doing it till I run out of formula.

how long to wean off formula?
I did it slowly with my dd because she had issues with dairy. For me it took over a week. I did 2 oz for 2 days, then 3 for 2 days, then 4 for like 3 days and so on... and then she was on it completely.
For my dd I find going slow always works best. I would honestly say do what works for your dc. =)

I had no idea you were supposed to wean, switched both kids to whole milk in sippies on their first birthday and never looked back...

I think we did an ounce a day too. DS has a sensitive stomach so i was nervous to do it too quickly.

My pediatrician said that we did not have to gradually go to whole milk. We gave our son whole milk and had no issue so we continued. At that point he already had yogurt, ice cream, etc. so he was exposed to dairy.

1 oz, then 2 then like 4 then all. Over about 3 weeks b/c I tried regular milk then switched to lactaid.

Me too - never weaned for my two kids. Just switched them to milk.

We did 2 oz a week, but the only reason we changed so slowly was because I wanted to use up the formula we had already bought for DS. Otherwise, I would've upped the amount every 3ish days, assuming no negative side effects.

with dd1 i took a bit longer. 1 oz milk in 6oz bottle every few days. Maybe 2 weeks.
dd2 just switched recently. I kinda slowly transitioned but was so over making formula I kinda skipped and went straight milk after a week.

With my DD, cold turkey. Finished off formula and went right over to milk.
With my DS we transitioned him over about two weeks but that's because we started him earlier on milk, around 10 months old.........he hated the formula and was refusing bottles so we made the switch.

how long to wean off formula?
we just started giving her milk once the ped told us to. It took a few days to get to used to the taste but after that she was good. We didn't mix it with formula or anything
