Had anyone been to Peddler's Village in New Hope, PA?
I'm planning a trip to the area soon to see my friend. She mentioned that there's some cute things to do if you have kids (she doesn't but I do). Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone has been, what it's like? I've driven past it before and it looked like such a cute place. Would my 2 year old enjoy it or is it mostly for older kids?

There is a train there, New Hope Railroad. But nothing else that is kid friendly IMO. Lots of shopping and eateries. I do believe there is a small kid's museum, but since we went on the trick or treat train at night, it wasn't open. The traffic is TERRIBLE there.

I live about 20-30 min away. Look into giggleberry, in the back by the food court there is a water thing, and fire truck station, otherwise its a tiny chuck e cheese with a merry go round. My kids enjoy it. When its nice out, my kids love to run around and get homemade ice cream and go to lunch. Its a cute little place, im sure he would have fun fpr a day.

Giggleberry is really cute for the kids. You can definitely make a half day of walking around shopping and spend at least an hour in Giggleberry. It has a carousel, games, and jungle gym.
We eat at the **** and Bull every time we're in the area. Good food. I took my 5 yo, 3 yo,and 1 yo there over the winter. They liked it.

Re: Had anyone been to Peddler's Village in New Hope, PA?
My mom and I ended up there with my then 2 year old son and loved the shops. There were some really unique places. We specifically commented on how the stores are not kid friendly - small, lots of tchochkes (sp?) - and how it would better make for a girls type trip. We had to either go one at a time or skip a few stores where his stroller wouldn't fit.
We didn't see any kids stuff but we were only passing through and didn't look that hard. But whatever is there has to be pretty small.
