When do you stop washing...
...new clothes for your dc before they wear them?
I mean, it has to stop eventually. I dont wash my clothes before I wear them.

I think I stopped at 3 months one I discovered that her skin wasn't sensitive.

Around when she turned one. I still wash things sometimes but that was when I stopped worrying about washing every little thing.

I still do for my 3 year old DD but she has really sensitive skin so I like to wash everything to get the chemicals and whatever else from the store off. But sometimes if I need her to wear it right away, or if it's a fancy dress then I don't wash first and don't worry about it.
I don't wash my clothes before wearing them for the first time.

DS1 around 1 yr. He has sensitive skin, but fine with new clothes.
DS2 - around 2 - 3 months.

I wash everything new because they've been through factories, all over the store and handled by tons of people. Everything new goes right in the laundry.

DS is almost 15 months and I usually try to wash all clothes before he wears it still. He has really sensitive skin and eczema so I will do whatever helps him be more comfortable.

Some stuff I will, but I feel like it never looks as new once it goes through the wash.

Around 3 months I stopped washing clothes. I wash new towels sheets undies and bathing suits before use though.
