Anyone go on a road trip there? I have a soon to b 4 year old n a 4 month.. Debating whether we should make the trip. We would go to Busch gardens, colonial Williamsburg area, outlets.. Thinkin of driving to VA beach... Thoughts? Kids too young for such a long trip?

Re: Williamsburg, VA
I've done it without kids & when I was a kid. Williamsburg is amazing, but yes, I think a 4 year old is too young to get much out of it. Much better for school age kids. The trip itself is nice... We've gone to DC, spent some time & then gone to Williamsburg.

Re: Williamsburg, VA
My sister and I are taking my niece and her friend, who will be just shy of 16, and my two DS who are 4 and 7 in July. We're not planning on doing anything historical because none of the kids want to. We got unlimited lasses to Busch Gardens and Wild Water Kingdom. We will do a park every other day and the pool at the resort in between. I think your 4 year old would enjoy it and probably the baby too, but obviously he will be more limited with which rides, if any, he can go on. As for the driving portion, we went to a different part of Virginia when my kids were 3months and 3.5 years. They did ok in the car. We stooped more then we would now, but it wasn't terrible.
