Kid's mornings
How does your LO wake up? Happy? Moody? Grumpy?
Sounds like I'm asking which dwarf...
Anyway, it's funny how opposite my boys are. Even when they get up. DS1 will be 5 next month and usually takes some time to get up. He can be moody some mornings. He was like that when he napped too. Thank goodness he doesn't nap anymore.
DS2 is 2.5 years old and ALWAYS wakes with a big smile on his face. He could get an hour nap or 12 hours sleep and still is happy.
Only difference is DS1 sleeps better in the car and when he was younger he could pass out anywhere. DS2 only likes to sleep on his belly so never slept in the stroller and he really has to be tired to pass out in the car.

When she wakes up in the a.m., she is a happy little thing. Sometimes, when she wakes up from a nap, she's a little moody, but that's pretty rare.

Both kids wake up pretty happy but my DD (5yo) drags more, she LOVES her sleep so it takes her a little while to snap into the day.
My son (13 months) always wakes up happy but about 1.5-2 hrs after waking up he starts to hit the wall. He gets reallllly tired and moody and starts wandering around aimlessly. That's when you know it's time for a morning nap.

My DD wakes up every morning so happy and talking non stop. It takes me a little while to get going though lol. When she napped, she used to wake up so cranky. But she stopped napping a long time ago.

DS is 3 and almost always wakes up happy. Only time he wakes up in a grumpy mood is if he's being woken up from a short nap or if he's fallen asleep in the car.

Most times DD wakes up happy. I will hear her squirming and just find her laughing sitting up in her crib. Every now and then she will wake from her naps cranky.

Both wake up happy in the morning, but DS #2 is a tyrant if he takes a nap - which is on a very rare occasiion he will fall asleep in the car. He is 4 and has been that way since at least 2 if not earlier.

DS is 7 months and is always happy, even wakes up happy. He sometimes cries when he wakes very hungry but as soon as he sees me he is all smiles

It depends. If she got a good night's sleep she wakes up happy and in a great mood. In fact it's the best time of the day and her mood usually goes down hill from there!
However, if she went to bed late, or had to get up before she was ready, forget it. She is a whiny, crying, monster!!!

DS is 2. He wakes up very happy in the morning. He wakes up ready to go. Naps are different. If he takes his full nap (2 hours) then he will be a little sleepy and need some time. But still happy. If he wakes up early from his nap, then he often has a meltdown because he's just overtired.

As long as she is not startled awake she is a happy camper. She's like me it takes her a little while to wake up and she is not big into noise and light. We have a routine in morning. Dh doesn't know the routine so when he's home he tries to do things out of order which drives her crazy. Shes still smiley but looks confused.
