Bathing suits for DD?
Where do you buy bathing suits for your DD? Do you prefer rash guards or regular suits?

I like Carters, ON and Gap. I prefer the rashguard shirts for the extra sun protection.

This, except I prefer regular suits bc I personally hate wearing rash guards, and can't imagine they are much more comfortable on little kids.

I like the rash guards for the extra protection from the sun. Costco actually has some cute ones out now. Last year her suits were from Carters and Target.

Bathing suits for DD?
I do both. Reg and rash guard for days well be out for an extended time.
I like carters but they run 1-2 sizes too small. So size up. Gap- inconsistent sizing

Re: Bathing suits for DD?
I get regular suits at any store that has a cute one. I don't worry about the rash guard for sun protection. I just slather with sunscreen and reapply throughout the day. We've never been burned.

This. We have a few from Gap, Old Navy, Denny's and Bloomingdales. Sometimes you can find cute ones at Century21 too.

Re: Bathing suits for DD?
I buy long sleeve rash guards to put over a cute bathing suit. Since my girl does not pee in anything except a toilet, we do a 2 piece.
The rash guard comes from babies r us, Gymboree, or Janie & Jack. I buy both kids matching ones (girl & boy), do I get a white one so they are easy to spot.

Bathing suits for DD?
I buy wherever I see cute ones. Lands End has some cute ones this year. We've also bought a couple of rash guards from Swim Zip and I love them. Cute, and easy to get on/off with the non irritating zipper on the front. I also love some of the ones I've ordered on Ebay from Hong Kong. Vintagy ruffle looking ones.

Re: Bathing suits for DD?
last year I got at Target. Rash guard short sleeve shirt and short bottoms.
I would NOT recommend a white one, lol. it turned yellow from the chlorine.
I have to get some suits but haven't loved them or they are $$$ just waiting for sales
eta i buy the rash guards so i don't need to use so much sunscreen. It covers more and it never bothered dd.

How do the Lands End and Swim Zip suits fit? My DD is wearing 3T now. Should I get her 3T for the summer, or up a size?
Her 3T bathing suits from Target fit her fine now, but Carters 3T are too small for her.

Gymboree Carter's Janie and Jack Gap
(Those are the 4 suits DD has). She doesn't wear rash guards, but it's not a bad idea for the summer. The suit I got at gymboree has UVA UVB protection.
