Boy name help
Hi Ladies, I was searching around for names today and came across Sonny. My husband and I never agree on names but he actually liked this name BUT just as a nick name...so I was wondering what you would suggest for the babies first name to be that would go with Sonny. TIA PS ~ My uncle who I recently lost his nick name when he was younger was Sonny so I know it would be an honor to my mom however his first name was Joseph and we have too many Joseph's in our family that I wouldn't use that as a name.

Boy name help
I was thinking Wilson or Mason. Something with *son* at the end of it and then calling him Sonny.

Re: Boy name help
Sonny Bono was a Salvatore.
I knew a Sonny in high school -- his real name was Stanley.

This is a nice idea...one of my son's middle name is Greyson so just throwing that one out there!

Re: Boy name help
My grandfather's name was Fortunato but his family called him Sonny because he was the first "son" in the family and his mom loved referring to him as her Sonny boy. The name just stuck. I think it's a great nickname.

Re: Boy name help
Sonny to me is a nickname only to a nice Italian name like Salvatore or Santino. Something like that. Of course I have one of my favorite movies A BronxTale in my head. I don't like it as a nickname to Mason or something like that.
