Any tips on making the transition easier? DD has only ever been with DH, myself or family. I'm terrified she's going to scream the entire time and miss me and wonder why I left her. It breaks my heart :(

Give it two weeks. It will be hard in the beginning, but the teachers there will redirect her when she's upset and she'll know that mommy always comes back.

Chances are she will cry when you leave but she will not cry all day. The daycares are great at making the transition easier. It will probably be harder on you than her.
My only real advice is stick with it. Pulling her out or delaying it will only make it worse.

My son went to daycare for the first time at 21 months. He barely noticed I left. Said bye bye mama and went off the play with trucks.
It's been 6 weeks and he hasn't cried once.
I'm sure she'll be fine. She's old enough that all the kids and new toys will be an exciting distraction. And even if she cries, she'll get used it.
It's harder on us then it is on them

The first 2 weeks were hard. I will say this, most of the time, by time I left and got outside to head to car, when I peeked in the window he had already stopped crying.
He was 10 months when he started. One thing to be prepare for is your child crying when you arrive to pick up at the end of the day. I wasnt expecting that butt it happened for about 3 weeks. Now the best part of my day is seeing his face light up and the big hug I get when I come to pick up.
Some days....he doesn't even want to leave!
Hang in there. It will be hard, but it does get better.
