Selena Gomez went to rehab voluntarilly!
This reminds me of Dean McDermott- I guess you can go to "rehab" for anything these days. I guess she's emotionally scarred by being with Biebs that long....

Selena Gomez may be grappling with more serious troubles than her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber. The 21-year-old star checked into the Arizona rehab facility Dawn at The Meadows last month, a rep has confirmed to "The Insider With Yahoo."
Her stay began just after the New Year, on Jan. 5, and lasted for only two weeks. In a statement, the rep was quick to explain, "Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse."

Is rehab for some celebrities pretty much a spa retreat or something? Every time I see the rehab commercial in Malibu I turn to DH and tell him I need to go to rehab.
I know it's a serious matter, but the commercial looks so nice with the spa, beautiful views, etc.

I don't understand why they needed to announce this, if she went in in secret & no one knew up until her rep said anything... what's the point?

Seriously, I would love a week at the spa- I mean, rehab! Of course it's rehab.

I read that the exhaustion thing is a cover and she actually is pretty seriously into drinking and cocaine but her good girl image has been so carefully crafted they are doing their best to keep it quiet.

Didn't that skank LeAnn Rhimes go to rehab for exhaustion and stress?
I guess it must be pretty exhausting being on Vacation almost every day and setting up photos to look romantic with the husband you stole.
I think this is just a celebs way of cover things up or getting sympathy from fans.

Wasn't there a blind item about her being into some bad stuff and trying to hide it because of her good girl image. I mean... You can't tell me she is the good little girl so innocent but, spends all this time with JB. Are we supposed to believe she never got involved?

Maybe it's some kind of couples therapy without the couples? I know far too many women in their 30s that can not be in a stable relationship because they don't know how to be. They had too many bad experiences in their younger years that they carry onto now and it hurs them.
I hope its something like this.

According to a report by Radar, the pop star quietly checked into The Meadows on January 5 following "months of partying." Based in Arizona, The Meadows is the same clinic where Elton John, Donatella Versace, and John Galliano have sought help.
The official word is that Gomez was not treated for substance abuse issues. However, sources say she had allegedly been dabbling with pot and prescription drugs like Ambien. Others cite on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber, who was pulled over for driving under the influence last month in Miami, as a bad influence and drain on the young singer's emotions.
Wow. Well, good on Gomez for seeking help. Two weeks seems like a short time, so hopefully she's taking the proper precautions to heal, reflect, and bounce back. (Oh No They Didn't!)

Dabbling in pot and Ambien? They are making it sound like a hobby. You dabble in pottery classes or cooking, not drugs.
